Meet Dr. Katelyn Henderson

Dentist in King, North Carolina

Dr. Henderson grew up in Wake Forest, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from NC State University in 2009 and went on to receive her dental degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2013. She completed a General Practice Residency program at the VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

She is a past president for both the Forsyth County Dental Society and the 2nd District North Carolina Dental Society, member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Henderson came to dentistry through volunteer work. She grew up volunteering through Girl Scouts and church, but was particularly influenced by an oral surgeon on a mission trip that was able to quickly get people out of pain and in a better state of health through dental treatment.

She enjoys all areas of dentistry, especially putting anxious patients at ease and helping people, who would otherwise not seek dental care, achieve better oral and overall health. Dr. Henderson regularly volunteers at various clinics in our community and abroad. Dr. Henderson and her husband, TJ, have two boys, Thomas and Andy. They enjoy being outdoors whenever possible!
